Imperial Smelting & Refining USA, a rapidly expanding supplier of precious metals to customers across North America, has an immediate opening for an experienced full time salesperson, preferably located in Los Angeles, Houston, or Dallas. The successful candidate will be focused, within a defined territory, on developing new business opportunities for precious metal mill products for a growing customer base. This product consists of grain, sheet, and wire and ring tube. Potential customers will range from large jewelry manufacturing companies to wholesalers, distributors, repair shops and individual designers. This is a unique career opportunity for a dynamic candidate with strong sales & technical skills and a desire to succeed. Experience in selling to manufacturers and wholesalers preferably precious metal products, would be an advantage. We will consider any candidate that has sold to the jewelry manufacturing sector either as an independent or exclusive sales representative. You should have the ability to understand metal manufacturing processes, jewelry making techniques and product specifications in a wide range of applications. A basic understanding of refining processes and commercial terms would be an asset. Your mandate will be to develop new accounts and communicate effectively at all levels, both to Imperial and the customer base. You will have the ability to work independently within the guidelines and objectives given to you by the National Sales Manager, based in Rhode Island.
