Material safety data sheets are available for the alloys manufactured at Imperial, and provide guidelines on material handling and storage as well as suggested methods for handling spilled material.  In all cases local regulations must be followed.

The material safety data sheet does not include information on the mechanical properties of an item, recommended guidelines for its use, or the intended application of the item.  For products that require this additional information, a Product Data Sheet is often available.   

It is suggested that both the Material Safety Data Sheet and the Product Data Sheet (when appropriate) be reviewed before an alloy / product is used for the first time.
